 ***********

Join us for an exciting and empowering evening ! State Senator Tony Strickland will share with us his passion & goal to Make California Golden Again, and ways we can achieve that goal.

Strickland has dedicated his professional life to fighting for California. Being the son of an Army Drill Sergeant and a mom, who was long time member of our Camarillo RWF Club, instilled in Tony a strong work ethic and a sense of duty that he continues to lead with to this day.

Senator Strickland’s public service record spans 3 decades! At 28 years old, he was elected to the State Assembly. He was elected to the State Senate in 2008 and again in 2025. He has served as: Vice-chair of Health & Governmental Org Committees; Vice-chair of Health & Environmental Quality Committees; Chair of Assembly Republican Caucus; and California Chair for pro-Trump super PAC.

Tony is a well known elected official at the Capitol Building in Sacramento fighting for conservative leadership on all levels:

  • Standing up to the liberal overreach that comes out of Sacramento every day
  • Challenging California’s state sanctuary policies
  • Fighting State mandates on housing; Implementing plans to combat homelessness and clean up our streets
  • Cutting the Red Tape and rolling out the Red Carpet to businesses, in efforts to reward them, not punish them
  • Making crime illegal again, working with Police Departments & City Prosecutors.

Camarillo, California is located in Ventura County and is named after brothers Juan and Adolfo Camarillo, prominent Californios who owned Rancho Calleguas and founded the city.

Camarillo is located in Pleasant Valley at the eastern end of the Oxnard Plain, with the Santa Susana Mountains to the north, the Camarillo Hills to the northwest, the Conejo Valley to the east, and the western reaches of the Santa Monica Mountains to the south.  A lush agricultural area, Camarillo grows beautiful strawberries,  orange, lemon and walnuts that are prized by consumers.  Point Mugu Naval Air Station is located in this area and we are very proud and supportive of the Naval personnel living in this area.

Adolfo Camarillo (pictured) and his brother, Juan,
were Californios who founded Camarillo
in the early 1900's.

The Camarillo brothers built The Camarillo Ranch House
on their Rancho Calleguas - isn't it beautiful?

Delicious strawberries and other fruit are grown in the Camarillo area.

Point Mugu is the home of an important Naval station and Missile Park.
