Ms. Shelley will discuss updates on the following topics:
Fight Back Now ! Taxpayers are under siege this year as local governments and special interest groups load the ballots with new tax initiatives. Susan will share how we, as the conservative taxpayers in CA, can fight back now to derail these new taxes. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Proposed legislation: AB 1219, introduced in the 2025-2026 Regular Session, aims to reshape tax brackets and rates for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2025.
Tax Brackets: The tax brackets are expected to increase by about 2.3% compared to the previous year, affecting how much of your paycheck you keep.
These changes could significantly impact taxpayer's take home pay and tax obligations.

Camarillo, California is located in Ventura County and is named after brothers Juan and Adolfo Camarillo, prominent Californios who owned Rancho Calleguas and founded the city.

Camarillo is located in Pleasant Valley at the eastern end of the Oxnard Plain, with the Santa Susana Mountains to the north, the Camarillo Hills to the northwest, the Conejo Valley to the east, and the western reaches of the Santa Monica Mountains to the south.  A lush agricultural area, Camarillo grows beautiful strawberries,  orange, lemon and walnuts that are prized by consumers.  Point Mugu Naval Air Station is located in this area and we are very proud and supportive of the Naval personnel living in this area.

in the early 1900's.

The Camarillo brothers built The Camarillo Ranch House
on their Rancho Calleguas - isn't it beautiful?

Delicious strawberries and other fruit are grown in the Camarillo area.

Point Mugu is the home of an important Naval station and Missile Park.
